There’s a lot of violence, a lot of sport talk, and a lot of talk of addiction, sexual assault, and abuse, but I never felt like the series glorified it. He’s recruited by Kevin Day, who used to be an Exy legend before a mysterious accident ruined his dominant hand–and who was friends with Neil when they were children, and could possibly blow Neil’s entire cover. Neil is recruited to a university Exy team called the Palmetto Foxes, which acts as a halfway house for troubled teenagers and young adults. Basically, The Foxhole Court (actually called All For the Game as a series, but everyone just refers to it by the name of the first book) is about a boy named Neil Josten, who is not really named Neil Josten, who plays a lacrosse-like sport called Exy while on the run from his gangster father and the life he had eight years ago.
